In Solitude
Everyday I hear the horns
Of the rushing vehicles.
Everyday at dusk and dawn
I hear the prayers offered.
Everyday I miss some chance
To enjoy the pattern of my life.
Perhaps, at moments like these
When I sit under the open sky —
So incompletely complete.
These zephyrs when cut-through
my chest,
I feel a sudden desire of unrest.
These clouds when put a veil
On the clear sky
Makes the early evening
Appear early night in disguise.
Here and there
There and here,
Wherever I see —
Is a beauty trapped in a box
Waiting to gain eternity.
These eagles in the sky,
Those kids on the ground,
These mosquitoes buzzing around,
Those twinkling lights of the far off-homes,
All are enjoying and are jovial
And they have nothing to do
With you and me.
But still, when the sky is dark
And you are enjoying the serenity,
It is the time to ponder
Upon the mysteries of nature
And the solitary unanimity.

MODERN MAN
When I peep inside myself,
I see a heart like stone,
A creature no more living,
Just a skeleton standing alone.
Knowledge is dead and worn out,
Irrationalism is on sale,
The dark thoughts of life,
Are engulfing humanism.
No one offering a helping hand,
Crime no more a fear,
Fakeness has crept in,
And fundas of life have become unclear.
The ray of hope still alive,
Remains strong and intact,
As good always wins over evil,
Which is known for a fact.

I Tried So Hard
I tried so hard.
I tried my best.
I gave you my all,
and now there’s nothing left.
You stole my heart,
then tore it in two.
Now I’m falling apart,
and don’t know what to do.
Divided by decisions,
burned by the fire.
Confused by your words.
Tempted by desire.
I’m living in the present.
My mind is on the past.
Not knowing what I’ll lose.
Not knowing what will last.
Blinded by fear.
Drowning in doubt.
Struggling to be free.
Looking for a way out.

  life
God is the greatest examiner,
we are all students,
The life is the answer sheet,
on which we are
to take the exam.
Time allowed is three hours,
the first is childhood,
the second is youth,
the third is old age.
the bell at last is rung,
by the messenger of God.
the exam is over,
the copy is snatched,
the paper was long,
the time was short.
if we fail, we go to some hell
to live one more life,
if we pass we go to heaven,
to return no more.

MONEY
Money, Money, money
Everybody wants a lot of money
Money is like sweet honey
Money, Money, Money.
Money is everyone’s honey bunny
We can buy anything with money,
But we can’t buy happiness from money
Isn’t it so funny??
Money, Money, Money
