171 Asstt Professors promoted in Higher Education Deptt

JAMMU, Apr 16: The Department of Higher Education today accorded sanction for promotion of 171 Assistant Professors as the Associate Professors.
These Assistant Professors (Selection Grade-I), working  in pay band of Rs 15600-39100 with AGP of Rs 8000, have been promoted as Associate Professor in pay band of Rs 37400-67000 with AGP of Rs 9000.
The promotion has been accorded on recommendation of DPC and clearance of the Public Service Commission for the same.
