JAMMU, Apr 28: A 17-year old girl today made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence at village Dablehar in RS Pura sector.
According to a police spokesperson, the girl identified as Madhvi (17) daughter of Raj Kumar, a resident of Dablehar, RS Pura, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance this morning following which she was shifted to a Government Hospital in RS Pura. However, in view of her serious condition, the doctors referred her to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where she is still unfit for giving any statement.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
