17 bovines rescued

JAMMU, Dec 6: Jhajjar Kotli Police has rescued 17 bovine animals being smuggled illegally to Srinagar.
During naka checking at Zedda, a team of Police Post Manwal rescued 17 bovine animals from a vehicle bearing registration number JK13D-9898, which was on its way from Samba towards Udhampur.
In this regard, a case under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and the vehicle involved in the smuggling of bovines was seized. Further investigation of the case was going on.
