168 COVID cases in J&K

JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Sept 19: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 168 COVID-19 cases while the UT of Ladakh for second consecutive day didn’t register any positive cases.
In Kashmir division, 153 persons tested positive for the virus while the number was 15 in Jammu region.
Among 15 cases in the region, six were reported from Doda, five Jammu, three Rajouri and one in Samba district while Udhampur, Kathua, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban and Reasi districts didn’t report any fresh positive cases today.
Twenty six persons recovered from the virus leaving behind 227 active positive cases in the region.
The UT of Ladakh didn’t report any new infections today. It now has 109 active positive cases including 106 in Leh and three in Kargil district.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 153 fresh COVID-19 cases.
Srinagar reported 92 cases, Baramulla 12, Budgam 20, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 3, Anantnag 8, Bandipora 2 and Ganderbal 12.
Out of 327941 cases, 1493 are active, 322032 have recovered and 4416 have died including 2247 in Kashmir division.
Moreover, 154 more COVID-19 patients have recovered including 128 from Kashmir. With this, 322032 people have recovered. There are 1493 active cases in J&K including 1266 in Kashmir.
There was no death due to the virus in last 24 hours in J&K where 4416 people have died so far including 2247 in Kashmir.
