REASI, Feb 24: Continuing special drive against the bovine smugglers under Operation Dhenu’ Reasi Police rescued 16 bovines from a truck at Moori Check Post.
The truck bearing registration number JK02DD-1889 was signaled to stop at Moori Check Post, but its driver crashed the vehicle into barricade and managed the flee taking advantage of darkness.
During search, Police team found 16 bovine animals loaded in the truck. Police rescued the animals and seized the truck besides registering a case FIR number 60/2024, under section 188 IPC, 11 1(a) PC Act, 2/3 PDP Act at Police Station Katra.
