SRINAGAR, Sept 6: The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) under the chairmanship of SM Sahai, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Armed approved promotions of 150 officers of Armed Police.
The promotion has been accorded to 6 ASIs as SIs, 81 Sg Constable as HCs and 63 constables as Sg Constables.
Sahai said that these promotions will act as a big morale booster for J&K Armed Police and it has been the endeavour of the promotion committees to fill up all the vacancies required to be filled up through promotion.
He expressed hope that the promoted officers and officials will continue to work with the same devotion and dedication.
