JAMMU, June 14: The Government today directed earmarking 15 percent horizontal reservation in direct recruitment for women candidates in non-Gazetted ranks in the Police Department.
The quota so reserved shall not be carried forward to the subsequent year in case suitable women candidates are not available, an order issued by Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Home RK Goyal, said.
