15 injured as passenger vehicle turns turtle

RAMBAN, July 12: Fifteen persons were injured after a vehicle turned turtle near Neera area here today.

As per official sources, a Trax passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK19-2726 which was on its way from Ganote to Ramban turned turtle near Neera, resulting into injuries to 15 persons.
After getting information, a team from Police Station Ramban rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals and volunteers.
All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Ramban, where their condition was stated to be stable when last reports came in.
The injured were identified as Preem Singh, son of Inder of Mulmulla Ganote, Suresh Kumar, son of Prem Nath of Nighal, Kulbir Singh, son of Ram Saran of Ganote, Mool Raj, son of Jia Ram of Ganote, Surjeet Singh, son of Balak Ram of Sancha, Sagar Singh, son of Jagan Nath of Ganote Nighal, Janak Singh, son of Faqir Chand of Adhwa, Priya, wife of Vishwajeet of Hiranagar District Kathua, Ranjeet Singh, son of Balak Ram of Gura Ganote, Sunakshi Devi, daughter of Rangeel Singh of Uttar Pradesh, Ritesh Manhas, daughter of Rajesh Manhas of Ramban, Ritanksha Manhas, daughter of Rajesh Manhas of Ramban, Parveez Ahmed, son of Salam Din of Ganote, Yassasvini Manhas, daughter of Rajesh Manhas of Ramban and Vishwajeet, son of Hushyar Singh of Hiranager District Kathua.
A case under FIR Number 254/2022 under section 279 and 337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation taken up.
