NOWSHERA, Oct 25: At least 15 passengers, nine of them women, were injured when a Matador met with an accident near Cheeta Morh, Jhangar in Nowshera today.

The ill -fated matador (JK02AK-0297) was on way to Nowshera from Jhangar when it over turned near Jhangar, leading to the injuries to 15 passengers who were later shifted to Sub District Hospital, Nowshera.
The injured have been identified as Swarna Devi (37), Sakshi (22), Manzoor Hussain (19), Suresh Devi (40), all residents of Jhanger; Ram Payari (56), Ram Parshad (55), Veena Devi (35), Sachin Kumar (19), Mukesh Kumar (27), M Kumar (26), Vidhya Devi (70), all from Sarya; Neetu Choudhary (31), Tilak Raj (44), both residents of Kalsian; Taro Devi (69) of Bal Shama and Kajal Devi (16) from Bhetra village.
SDPO Nowshehra, Zamir Shaheen Mirza reached the spot along with some policemen and they shifted patients to the hospital for first- aid. The police has taken cognizance of the incident.
