UDHAMPUR, Nov 19: Police rescued 15 bovines in Dudu area and also arrested the alleged smuggler, here today
Team of Police Post Dudu foiled one bovine smuggling bid and rescued 15 bovines, which were being smuggled in a vehicle bearing registration number JK03D-2710.
The vehicle was on its way towards Chenani when Police team intercepted it and arrested the driver, identified as Mehraj Din, son of Roshan Din of Goha Mothi, Doda. All the bovines were rescued and shifted to a safer place.
In this regard, case FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Latti.
