KATHUA, Feb 23: In continuation to take stringent action against illegal liquor menace, a police team of Police Station, Billawar under the supervision of Inspector, Yashpal conducted the raid at Pallan area of Billawar and apprehended one suspect namely, Pritam Lal, son of Chunni Lal of Pallam tehsil, Billawar.
During physical checking, 15 bottles of illicit liquor (JK Special Whisky) was recovered from his possession illegally. Later on, accused was arrested along with recovered liquor.
A case vide FIR No 30/2021 U/S 48 (f) Excise Act has been registered in PS Billawar and further investigation of the case is going on.
