SRINAGAR, Oct 11: During the 109th session of the Legislative Council which concluded today, as many as 170 total starred questions were received, out of which 147 starred questions were taken up and 23 were disallowed.
As many as 121 un-starred questions were received, 112 taken up and 9 disallowed, a press release issued by the Council Secretariat said.
One short notice question was also received and taken up during the session. As many as 11 Resolutions were received out of which nine were taken up for discussion. As many as 40 Calling Attentions were received and 25 were listed during the session. Five Discussions were received out of which four were taken up for discussion. Besides, two Discussions were received and taken up for discussion. Two Discussions were also received. As many as five Private members Bills were received out of which 3 were taken up for discussion. Two Government Bills were received and both were taken up for Discussion. As many as seven Papers were laid in the House, three Adjournment Motion were also received.
