SRINAGAR: With 143 persons, including 100 from Kashmir and 43 from Jammu, testing positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, the total number of infected people in the Union Territory of J&K has risen to 3467. Of the 143 new positive cases, 44, including 10 from Jammu, are those, who have recently returned from outside J&K.
An official on Saturday said that 100 more people tested positive for Coronavirus in Kashmir division, while 43 new cases were reported from Jammu. “Shopain recorded the highest number of 64 new COVID-19 cases, followed by Bandipora with 14 cases,” he said, adding that 11 people tested positive for the infection in Kathua.
