SRINAGAR, Sept 4: Government today accorded sanction to the temporary appointment of 142 candidates to the Junior scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services, J&K Police (Gazetted) Service and J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service against the posts under direct recruitment quota with immediate effect.
The candidates hailing from Kashmir and Jammu divisions, allotted to the Junior Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, will report to J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development Srinagar/ Jammu respectively. However, the candidates hailing from Ladakh region may join either at IMPA Srinagar or IMPA Jammu.
The candidates allotted to the J&K Police (Gazetted) Service and the J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service will report to the Director General of Police and the Director General, Accounts and Treasuries, respectively.
The appointees will be on a probation for a period of 2 years during which they will undergo training and pass departmental examination as prescribed under rules.

The candidates who were appointed to the junior scale of J&K Police (gazetted) service are Zohaib Hassan, Syeed Peerzada Mujahidulhaq, Mansha Beg, Sunil Singh, Gulzar Rashied Magray, Surinder Singh, Shoket Ali, Satish Kumar and Mohd Hussain.
