LEH, July 26: The 13th Guard Snow Leopard Brigade organised the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas at Nyoma on July 26.
Brigade Commander of the 13th Guard Snow Leopard delivered a speech reflecting on the strategic importance of the Kargil victory and the indomitable spirit of the Indian Army.
A special highlight of the event was the attendance of 20 ex-servicemen, 5 of which served during the Kargil war.
The event also featured an exhibition of military equipment, a medical camp and medicines were distributed to the villagers.
Additionally, Nyoma Youth Association presented a traditional cultural dance and various food stalls offering a range of refreshments were also present.
Further, vehicle stickers commemorating the Kargil war were also distributed.
Nambardar, Nyoma, Nambardar, Nidar, Vice Chairman, Nyoma Monastery and around 300 villagers from Nyoma, Nidar and Mudh were present at the event.
