137 new cases in J&K, 32 in Ladakh

JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Feb 22: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 137 COVID positive cases while the Union Territory of Ladakh recorded 32 positives.
Jammu division registered 100 cases and Kashmir 37.
Thirty cases were reported from Jammu district, 25 Doda, 22 Udhampur, eight Ramban, six Kathua, three each from Rajouri and Poonch, two Samba and one in Reasi district.
Kishtwar district didn’t report any cases.
Daily recoveries stood at 257. Jammu region now has 785 active positive cases.
The Union Territory of Ladakh reported 32 COVID positive cases today including 24 in Leh district and eight in Kargil.
As against 32 cases, 52 persons recovered from the virus leaving number of active positive cases in Ladakh to 321—276 in Leh and 45 in Kargil district.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 37 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 22 from Srinagar, 3 from Baramulla, 7 from Budgam, 1 from Anantnag, 3 from Bandipora, and 1 from Kulgam.
With fresh cases, the number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 286,911 including 283,825 recoveries and 2,423 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,448 including 663 from Kashmir division.
With 381 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 446,352 which is 98.63 percent of the total cases.
