13 GMC faculty members placed on higher posts

JAMMU, Sept 30: Government today accorded sanction to the placement of 13 faculty members of Government Medical College, Jammu on higher posts in their own pay and grade, for a period of six months or till the posts are filled up on regular basis, on the recommendations of the DPC/PSC, whichever is earlier.
According to the order, Dr Anita Vig (Kohli), Associate Professor Anesthesiology has been placed on the post of Professor, Dr Anjali Mehta (Assistant Professor, Anesthesiology) on the post of Associate Professor and Dr Renu Wakhloo (Assistant Professor, Anesthesiology) on the post of Associate Professor.
Dr Arti Mahajan (Lecturer, Anesthesiology), Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Wani (Lecturer Anesthesiology) and Dr Shruti Gupta (Lecturer, Anesthesiology) have been placed on the post of Assistant Professor while Dr Sonika Kanotra (Associate Professor, ENT) has been placed on the post of Professor.
Dr Rupali Bargotra (Associate Professor, Pathology) has been placed on the post of Professor while Dr Rajat Gupta (Lecturer, Pathology) and Dr Bharti Devi Thaker (Lecturer, Pathology) have been placed on the post of Assistant Professor.
Dr Shamiya Sadiq (Lecturer, Pharmacology) has been placed on the post of Assistant Professor while Dr Ravi Kumar Parihar and Dr Koushal Kumar (Lecturers, Pediatrics) have been placed on the post of Assistant Professor.
