REASI, Aug 20: Police foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued 13 animals besides arresting two accused in this connection at Chassana.
The accused, namely Dilawar Hussain son of Din Mohd of Chaana and Showkat Ali son of Kaag Hussain of Chaana, were intercepted late last night by a Police party when they were smuggling bovine animals from Chassana to Kashmir.
Police arrested the accused and rescued the animals besides registering a case in this connection.
