Srinagar, Apr 20: Acting on directives from the Assistant Regional Transport Officer Srinagar, the Flying Squad Enforcement team today penalized 121 vehicles, including school vans, for violating regulations across the city.
Officials revealed that the crackdown specifically targeted vehicles found halting in designated “No Halting Zones,” notably along bustling boulevards and major thoroughfares.
Highlighting the aim of these enforcement actions, officials stressed the importance of educating all road users on the critical need for compliance with traffic regulations.
“Ensuring the safety of school bus services remains paramount, necessitating the strict implementation of comprehensive guidelines mandated by the Supreme Court,” officials emphasized.
