JAMMU, Dec 23: 120th Mahajyanti of mystic saint, Swami Nand Bab Sahib was celebrated as Sadhana Divas, here today.
On this connection, a function was held at Ashram Swami Nand Bab Sahib, Lale-da-bagh, Jammu, under the patronage of Gurumata Nirmala Je Bamzai.
A Mahayagya was also performed on the occasion for world’s peace and prosperity.
Large number of devotees from different walks of life took part in the celebration to receive blessings of the revered saint.
The function among others was attended by Anand Swami Pran Nath Bhat ‘Gareeb’, Swami Kumar Jee of Geeta Satsang Ashram, Swami Shiv Kumar Raina, Dr Susheel Wattal and Santosh Nadaan.
The devotees were served prashad after puran ahuti.
On the occasion, the Ashram felicitated Sunita Verma, wife of Kamal Gupta, devotee of Swami Nand Bab.
The programme was coordinated by Vikram Koul, publicity secretary of the Ashram.
It is pertinent to mention here that the mystic saint was born on the auspicious day of ‘Poh Gatpachh Deham’, December 30, 1896 at Purshyar, Haba Kadal, Srinagar and attained Nirvana in 1973.
