KATHUA, Oct 23: The sleuths of Excise Department destroyed 1200 kilograms lahan and 65 litres of illicit liquor.
As per official spokesman, on the directions of the Excise Commissioner Mohammad Javed Khan and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Syed Muried Hussain Shah, the Excise Team Kathua led by ETO Excise Range Kathua, Vikas Anand and Inspector Excise Arun Kumar along with excise staff raided the Kangdyal, Padyari, Khokyal and Jaraie areas.
During raids, more than 1200 kilograms of lahan and 65 litres of illicit liquor were recovered and later destroyed on the spot.
