SAMBA, May 18: Twelve vehicles, including eleven dumpers, were seized across the district today for their alleged use in illegal transportation/ mining of the construction material, officials said.
They said the vehicles were seized by teams of Police Stations Ghagwal and Vijaypur and in-charges of police posts SIDCO, Supwal, Mansar, and Rakh Amb Talli during patrolling duties in their respective jurisdictions.
Post seizure, officials said the vehicles were handed over to the Geology and Mining Department Samba for further legal action in the matter.
