JAMMU, July 14: At least 12 vehicles were seized for illegal mining in Jammu District today, police said.
They said four vehicles were seized by a team of Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Nagrota, Inspector Vishav Partap Singh, one tractor by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Miran Sahib, Inspector Bopinder Singh, another tipper by a team of Police Station Akhnoor led by SHO Akhnoor, Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq, two vehicles by a team of Police Post Chatha led by incharge Police Post Chatha, PSI Harjinder Paul Singh, and four vehicles by a team of Police Post Phallain Mandal led by incharge Police Post Phallain Mandal, PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal.
“DMO Jammu has been intimated about the vehicles seized for mining in violation of a High Court order,” said police.
