SRINAGAR: As many as 12 shops and four houses were completely destroyed in two separate fire incidents in central Kashmir, a police spokesperson said here today.
He said a massive fire broke out in the main market at Chittergul Payeen in Kangan in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot from different stations in the district. However, before the fire was doused, ten shops and four residential houses were completely damaged, he said.
