JAMMU, May 15: Consequent upon the appointment of Associate Professors as Principals, Government today ordered posting/adjustment of 12 Principals in different Government Degree Colleges (GDCs) with immediate effect, besides placing five Associate Professors as Incharge Principals.
Preet Pal Kour has been posted/adjusted to GDC Dharmari, Ravina Hassan to GDC Charar-i-sharief, Anirudh Sharma to GDC Dudu Basantgarh, Ashok Kumar to GDC Sarh Bagha Mahore, Anwar Shah to GDC Paddar and Asmat to GDC Tangmarg.
Further, Nighat Nasreen has been posted to GDC Eidgah, Rani Mughal to GDC Surankote, Mohd Abbas Shah to GDC Marwah, Karan Singh to GDC Gool, Syed Ezaz Hussain Rizvi to GDC Kulgam and Mohd Shafiq to GDC Shopian.
Meanwhile, sanction has also been accorded to placement of 5 Associate Professors as Incharge (I/c) Principals of GDCs, in their own pay and grade for a period of six months or till regular promotions, whichever is earlier.
Associate Professor Nargis Bano shall continue in GDC Khansahib after her placement as I/c Principal whereas Masood Ahmad Malik (presently posted at GCW MA Road, Srinagar) has been posted to GDC Nandipora, where he shall assume the charge after Dr Wilayat Hussain is deputed to CLUS as Registrar.
Gurvinder Raj Verma has been posted from GDC Poonch to GDC Qazigund, Altaf Hussain Gadoo from GDC Shopian to GDC Langate and Syed Javaid Hussain from GDC Beerwah to GDC Uttersoo.
