UDHAMPUR, July 16: Twelve persons were injured when a truck collided with a bus at Dogra Morh near Kud on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that a bus bearing registration No. JK-14D/ 2817 was on its way to Kashmir from Jammu. When it reached near Kud, it collided with a truck No. JK02BQ-3299 at Dogra Morh. The injured were shifted to Chenani hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
The injured were identified as Hari Bahadur Sahi, son of Dhan Raj from Nepal, Goray Sarvi, son of Kulganj of Nepal, Jeevan Bahadur son of Daland Bahadur of Nepal, Durga, son of Man Singh from Nepal, bus driver Imran Khan, son of Abdul Aziz of Banihal; Devinder Gupta, son of Gulab Gupta of Gorakhpur, Raju Chawan from Gorakhpur, Shotay Lal son of Jokhan Gupta of Gorakhpur, truck driver Inder Paul son of Netar Singh from Poonch, Jay Dev from Rajasthan, Manjeet Singh from Ramban and Raj Kumar from Sudh Mahadev.
