JAMMU, Sept 3: Nagrota police rescued 12 bovine animals and arrested a smuggler.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nagrota Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a truck.
During checking, police team rescued 12 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested a smuggler, who has been identified as Raj Singh, son of Jagdev Singh, a resident of Kunjwani.
A case under FIR Number 347/19 under relevant sections has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
