JAMMU, May 15: Eleven vehicles involved in illegal mining in different areas of Jammu were seized today by Jammu Police.
“While five tractors without registration numbers were seized by Police Station Khour, 2 tractor trolleys without registration numbers were seized by Police Station Nagrota, one tractor trolley without registration number by Police Station Miran Sahib, 2 tractor trolleys bearing registration numbers JK02CT-3643 and JK02CU-2562 by Police Post Sidhra and one tractor trolley without registration number was seized by Police Post Chinore,” a police spokesperson said.
He said the recoveries were made by SHO Police Station Khour Inspector Balwinder Singh, SHO Police Station Nagrota Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh, SHO Police Station Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq, Incharge Police Post Sidhra SI Majid Hussain and Incharge Police Post Chinore PSI Amit Singh in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the seizure, he added.
