KATHMANDU, Jan 1: Eleven people were killed today and seven others injured when a passenger bus veered off the road and fell into a river in Nepal’s Salyan district.
The bus, en route to Rukum from Kathmandu, fell some 100 meters down in Sarada River at Banskada-5 this morning.
The visibility in the region had decreased due to thick fog, police said.
The identification of the deceased has not been established. The driver of the bus is on the run after the accident. (AGENCIES)
