11 injured in road accidents

POONCH, Dec 10: At least 11 persons were injured in three separate road accidents in Bhimber Gali, Nowshera and near Poonch today.
Official sources said that six persons were injured when a Tata Sumo vehicle No.JK-12/3139 and Zen car No. JK04B/ 2554 were collided near Bhimber Gali on Rajouri-Poonch highway this afternoon. The Sumo after collision fell into a gorge. Six persons who received injuries were shifted to Manjakote hospital.
They were identified as Mohd Reyaz; Nazia Kouser, wife of Mohd Reyaz and minor Sameer Khan of Aiti in Rajouri, Abdula Sattar from Manjakote, Jehagir Khan from Nadol in Mendhar and Gafoor Ahmed from Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
A police spokesman said that two persons received minor injuries after a Matador turned down the road at Kanuyian village. The injured were provided first aid at nearby hospital and sent home. Three persons sustained minor injuries in yet another car accident near Nowshera this afternoon. They were also provided first aid and sent home.
