11-day long Shree Ganesh Mahotsav from tomorrow

JAMMU, Sept 15:  Eleven-day long 7th annual Shree Ganesh Mahotsav Yagya will be performed at Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Ground Jammu from September 17.
This was informed by Acharya Sanjay Shastri, chairman of Bhartiya Vedic Sansthan Jammu, while addressing a press conference, here today.
“The idol of Shree Ganesh Bhagwan shall be installed at Lakshmi Narayan Mandir’s backside ground and after culmination of the Yagya, it shall be immersed  as usual in river Chenab at Akhnoor,” he said and appealed  devotees to participate  in the Yagya along with their families for peace and prosperity in  India, particularly in  Jammu and Kashmir State.
Shastri further informed that after Bhajan Kirtan, Havan Yagya and recital of Mantras during the day time, daily Aarti shall be performed at 7.30 pm, which shall be followed by Krishan Leela from 8 pm to 10.30 pm.  Besides, daily Langar and Prasad will be distributed among the devotees during the Mahotsav, he added.
“Commencing from September 17, the 11-day long Mahotsav shall culminate on September 27 and all the devotees are requested to take part in the religious function for seeking blessings of Lord Ganesha,” Acharya Sanjay Shastri reiterated.
The press conference was also attended by Dewan Chand Bansal (patron of the Vedic Sansthan), Pankaj Chopra (Coordinator), Roshan Sharma (cashier), Harbhajan Singh (Langar secretary), Ramwah Kumar Badyal (Yagya secretary), Amit Goswami (general secretary), Anil Gupta (State secretary), Raj Pal Sharma and other members of the Vedic Sansthan.
