RAJOURI, Aug 24: The police rescued eleven bovine animals during a naka near Solki in Kalakote area during early hours today.
A police spokesman said that police party led by SDPO Pardeep Singh and assisted by SI Mukesh Kumar intercepted 11 bovine animals when three smugglers were carrying them on foot at the naka point. While smugglers fled the spot, the police seized the animals. One of the smugglers was later identified as Muneer Hussain of Channi Parat. Police registered a case and started search for the smugglers.
