JAMMU, Apr 14: The police seized 11 bovine animals along with a vehicle and arrested three persons in this connection.
A police spokesman said that police naka party intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK-11/0307 at Thannamandi during early hours today and found 8 bovine animals loaded in it. The police seized the vehicle along with cattle and also found one of the animals dead.
The driver of the vehicle, namely Nazir Hussain, son of Mohd Latief of Behrote was arrested. A case was registered in this connection.
Three cattle were seized at Mandir Galla area on Rajouri -Budhal Road today. The police also apprehended two persons in this connection. They were identified as Abdul Majid and Mohd Israil, residents of Dalhori. Kandi police has registered a case.
