JAMMU, Aug 14: A 10-year-old boy was knocked to death by an over speeding car at Qasim Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to the police, 10-year-old Ankush Kumar son of Mohinder Kumar, resident of Haryana (at present living at Qasim Nagar, Jammu), was hit and severely injured by a speeding car at Qasim Nagar, this afternoon.
The injured boy was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 3:30 pm. The body was sent for postmortem while Bagh-e-bahu Police had taken cognizance of the matter.
