REASI, Feb 15: A ten-year girl was allegedly raped by a man at Gran Morh, under the jurisdiction of Reasi Police Station, here last night.
Police has arrested the accused, who committed the heinous crime when the victim had come to the house of her relative in connection with a marriage function. The accused was identified as Kashmir Singh (45), son of Ram Singh of Gran Morh.
The matter was brought into the notice of Police by parents of the victim, who approached Police Station Reasi this morning and lodged a written complaint against the accused.
Police has registered a case under relevant sections and started further investigations after medical examination of the victim and arrest of the accused.
