RAJOURI, Aug 6: Ten persons were injured, one of them seriously when a mini-bus turned turtle and fell into a small gorge while over taking in Thannamandi area of district Rajouri today.
Reports said that mishap took place at around 4 pm when mini-bus bearing registration No. JK02H/ 3429 was moving in speed and over taking another vehicle in Khu-Bawali area of Thannamandi area on a link road. It went off the road and turned turtle. Ten passengers on board including the driver were injured.
The people rushed to the spot and police party from Thannamandi also reached there. They shifted all the 10 injured passengers to Thannamandi hospital, where some of them were discharged after providing first aid. Seriously injured Ruksana Kouser, daughter of Nassir Wani of Thannamandi was referred to District Hospital Rajouri while four others were undergoing treatment at Thannamandi hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
