10 hurt in accidents

JAMMU, Mar 19:  Ten persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Rajouri and Bhaderwah areas of Jammu region today.
A police spokesman said that eight persons were injured after a light motor vehicle bearing registration No. JK02AJ/ 7539 turned turtle after mechanical failure near Bathuni on Jammu-Rajouri road today. The vehicle was on way to Jammu from Rajouri. All the injured were removed to District Hospital, Rajouri and then discharged after providing treatment. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured in a car accident on Chinta-Bhaderwah road today. The car bearing registration number JK02S/2895 went out of control and fell into the gorge. The injured were removed to Bhaderwah hospital by the locals. The injured youth has been  identified as Adil Latief of Bhaderwah. The identity of the other injured girl could not be established.  The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
