JAMMU, July 25: Police today rescued 10 bovine animals from Baggu Nallah area, falling under the jurisdiction of Batote police station.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police party from Batote police station led by SHO Mohammad Iqbal under the supervision of SSP Ramban Javed Iqbal Mattoo laid a naka near Baggu Nallah and intercepted a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK03D-8614.
During checking, police rescued 10 bovine animals, while the driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR number 73/14 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at police station Batote and manhunt has been launched to nab the driver of the vehicle.
