REASI, June 16: One person died and seven others were injured in two separate road accidents in Mahore, here today.
A passenger was killed when a Tempo rolled down in gorge at Dhammi in Chasana. The Tempo JK14B-5426 met with accident at Dhamni while going from Sungri to Balmatkote. One person namely Suraj Ram, son of Chunnu of Sukka, was critically wounded in the accident and was referred to SDH Mahore where he succumbed to his injuries. Driver of the vehicle, namely Abdul Ghani, son of Anwar, resident of Balmatkote, was also injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, six persons were injured when a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK02AR- 2204 collided with a truck near Jamlan Bridge in Mahore. The injured were shifted to SDH Mahore. They were identified as Riaz Ahmed (22), son of Ahmed Din of Dewal, Sharief Din (16), son of Bashir Ahmed of Dewal Mahore, Noor Hussain (38), son of Md Qasim of Shikari, Mahore, Md Ashraf (25), son of Ab Hamid of Neoch,
Ab Rehman (60), son of Ab Aziz of Shadoul and Md Yusouf (60), son of Ab of Shadoul Mahore.
