1 killed, 4 injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Dec 4: One person was killed while four others were injured in separate road accidents in different parts of Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson a motorcyclist namely Ganesh Kumar (26) son of Ram Pal, a resident of Majua (Bishnah) was hit by an unknown vehicle at Tarore area of Samba district this evening. The profusely bleeding Ganesh was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
One Pawan Kumar (26) son of Babu Ram of Bishnah received serious injuries when the bike he was travelling on was hit by a speeding Scorpio car at Vijaypur in Samba district. He was rushed to a hospital in Vijaypur, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
In another accident a minor boy namely Sanjay (16) son of Paras Singh, a resident of UP (at present Gandhi Nagar Jammu) got injured when the cycle he was riding on was hit by a speeding Honda City car. He was shifted to GMCH for treatment.
One Pappu (25) son of Nand, a resident of Bihar (at present Bhagwati Nagar) and another Simran Mehra daughter of Subhash Mehra, a resident of Reshamghar also received injuries when their respective two wheelers got slipped at Canal Road and Tawi Bridge. They were also shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In all the cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
