MENDHAR, Feb 18: One person was killed while another injured after a tractor trolley fell down from a bridge in Mendhar area late this evening.
A police spokesman said that one Liaqat Ali (22), son of Shah Mohd, resident of Bera was killed on the spot while Imtiaz Khan, son of Mohd Taj from the same village got seriously injured after the tractor trolley No. 901/ JK-12 fell into a nallah from the bridge near local Stadium here late this evening.
Both the victims were rushed to Mendhar Hospital by police party led by SDPO where Liaqat was declared dead. The condition of Imtiaz was said to be serious. He was being referred to GMC Jammu.
