SRINAGAR, Jan 18: One person died while four others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a bus JK09/0372 driven by Ghulam Mohammad Lone of Kathpora Lolab hit and injured a pedestrian Muzaffar Ahmed Yatoo of Kakh Duslipora. The injured was shifted to JVC hospital, Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
Three persons were injured when a Tata Sumo JK01H/4754 skidded off the road at Upper Nachiyan in Karnah, Kupwara. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment.
In another accident, a 19-year-old pedestrian was injured when an Alto car JK03D/4209 hit him near Kawaki Bazaar in Qaimoh. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
