SRINAGAR, July 5: One person died and 13 others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesperson said that a Tavera JK03C 8054 met with an accident at Hutmoru, Mattan in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to three tourists, travelling in it. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Mattan Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Tata L.P bearing chasis number 607876 met with an accident at Dooru main Market, resulting in injuries to a pedestrian Gul Mohammad Bhat, son of Abdul Gani of Koty Gund. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment. Dooru Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Mahindra 207 JK05D 1912 rammed with a Mulberry tree at Balaharan on National Highway, at Mirgund, resulting in injuries to two persons including the driver of the vehicle. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Mirgund Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, an Alto car JK18 5376 hit a motorcycle, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist and a pillion. Both the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Mahindra vehicle JK09 3487 met with an accident at Puthroo Mood, resulting in on spot death of Allah-u-din, son of Siraj-ud-din, of Pathroo and injuries to four others who were travelling in it. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Kralpora for treatment. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
In another accident, An I-10 car JK01M 4057 hit and injured a pedestrian Saleema, wife of Mohammad Siddiq, of Usmania Colony near SDA Complex, Bemina. The injured lady was shifted to hospital for treatment. Bemina police has registered a case in this regard.
