MENDHAR, Apr 11: The police recovered 1.3 kgs of charas and arrested one person in this connection in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that a Mendhar police team led by PSI Prince Jasrotia, assisted by SOG men, nabbed a drug- peddler namely, Mohd Alyas, son of Mohd Showkat, resident of village Ari in Mendhar and recovered 1.3 kg of charas from his possession.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 74/2022 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station, Mendhar and investigation started.
