JAMMU, Nov 4: Power House Club defeated Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Club by three goals to one (3-1) in the Poonch District Junior Boys Hockey Championship, being organized by Hockey Poonch, under the aegis of Hockey J&K at Sports Stadium Poonch, today.
Charanjeet Singh scored the first goal via penalty corner in 6th minute for Power House Club, while Ishtiaq Hussain netted the second goal in 10th minute again through penalty corner and the third goal was scored by Talvinder Pal Singh in 12th minute and the goal scored was field goal.
Suresh Kumar was the lone goal scorer for Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Club in 14th minute of the match.
The match was officiated by Mukesh Kumar, NIS hockey coach and Kavaldeep Singh, while Pawan Kumar, NIS hockey coach and Ravinder Singh were the technical officials.
Narjeet Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.
Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Hockey Club will take on Power House Club in the Sub Junior boys category tomorrow at the same venue.
