JAMMU, Feb 4: Ace Body Builder, Nitish Wadera retained Mr J&K 2017 title by emerging champion in senior category at Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here.
In junior category, Devank Gupta bagged the title, while Puran Singh bagged overall title emerging as most muscular man of competition.
There were 10 categories in bodybuilding as well as in physique in which various participants from all over state participated to vie for the top honours.
A panel of experts from Delhi adjudicated the event. Earlier, Askoor Ahmed Wani, DIG Jammu inaugurated the event.
Sham Lal Choudhary, Minister for PHE J&K was he chief guest on the concluding ceremony.
He was accompanied by the office bearers of the Association namely Shiv Kumar, Rajan Kohli and Sudhir Gupta.
He distributed prizes among the winners on the occasions.
Earlier, two minutes silence was observed to condole the sad demise of Sunita Devi Ji, mother of the chairman of the Association.
