JAMMU, Oct 28: As part of the celebration of Science and Art Week, Model Academy, the prestigious School of MIER, organized Science and Art Exhibition for the students of class 1st to 11th, here.
The function was inaugurated by Dr Renu Gupta, Director MIER, while the other dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr Adit Gupta, Joint Director MIER, Rupa Gupta, Management Representative, Dr Chitra Mishra, Principal, Usha Gadoo, Vice Principal and Manju Vali, Convener.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Renu Gupta impressed upon the students to be aware of the marvels of Science & Technology.
Dr Adit Gupta while interacting with the students, said that present age is the age of Science and Technology and we need to take maximum benefit out of it.
Dr Chitra Mishra also spoke on the occasion.
The projects displayed were rain water harvesting, three states of matter, water filtration factory, DNA model, earthquake alarm system etc. Later in the day, an Art Exhibition was also held. The students of art class displayed various art and craft forms, such as pottery and paintings etc.
