JKP outplays GDC Udhampur in friendly Volleyball match

UDHAMPUR, Mar 22: A friendly Volleyball match was held between the Volleyball team of Degree College Udhampur and J&K State Police Team at the Govt. Degree College ground, here.
MK Khan, Commandant 137 Battalion CRPF was the chief guest on this occasion.
The Police team comprised of the top players of the State with coach Inspector Sajad Hussain Malik.
The match commenced with ceremonial introduction of both the teams with the chief guest who was accompanied by Principal, Dr NK Resutra.
The State team although being professional was given a good fight by the College team.
In the best of three match series, JKP team defeated the host team by (20-16, 20-15). While addressing the players,Mr Khan lauded the efforts of College in organizing such events.
He also said by organizing such events, the confidence building measures between the public and the police are strengthened.
Mementoes and medals were presented by the Commanding Officer 137 Battalion CRPF to the players of both the teams.
