JAMMU, Nov 3: In a specially convened meeting of the office bearers of District Jammu Wrestling Association, under the chairmanship of its President Inderjeet Khajuria at Hotel India Pride, Jammu, the Association decided to conduct Jammu District Wrestling Championship at Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium here on November 5, 2017 from 9 am onwards.
All the interested wrestlers and in-charges of wrestling units including various akharas functioning in District Jammu have been asked to reach the venue at 9 am sharp with their teams for weighing in and contact Rakesh Khajuria, General Secretary JKWA (9419193811) and Bansi Lal Tidyal (National Referee) 9419196103, Director Competition for further information.
Among others present in the meeting were members of various Wrestling units namely Prem Choudhary, NIS Wrestling coach; Rakesh Khajuria, General Secretary JKWA, Raj Kumar Maini, Treasurer JKWA; Bansi Lal Tidyal, Mulakh Raj Sharma (NIS), Ram Rattan Verma, Krishan Lal, Mohd Saaid, Ranga Pehlwan and Balkar Pehalwan.
